Location:

Northampton
Shift Pattern: 24 hour operation, all shift patterns available, early, mid lates and nights
Benefits:
Overtime paid at time and a half and double, overtime and breakdown call out available

I am currently working alongside a flagship dealership based in the Northampton Area who are a market leader within the commercial vehicle industry. This is a well-established company, that are forward thinking and put a real emphasis on personal development.
What does the role involve?

· Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on all makes of vehicles and trailers to VOSA standard

· Diagnose and rectify all types of faults

· Ensure necessary paperwork is completed to the required standard and in a timely manner

· Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness and ensure all health and safety and environmental processes are adhered to

· Provide cover on rota system for breakdown cover (optional)

· Support and mentor our apprentices.

· Complete work directed by the Shift Supervisor, Workshop Controller or Dealer Point Manager.
 
To be successful in the HGV Technician role you will need:

· Level 3 or equivalent qualification in HGV/LCV Mechanics

· HGV, PSV or LCV Technician experience

· Full UK Driving Licence preferable

· Reliable and Punctual
