Position

HVAC Technical Support Engineer – Both Heating and Cooling – £48k-£54k (Mon-Fri) + £4k bonus + car / car allowance + 11% pension, dental, healthcare, 27 days holiday + bank holidays.

Desired Experience

Highly technical and qualified HVAC Engineer, especially on the refrigerant cycle, chilled water (chillers) and heat pumps whether commercial or domestic monobloc ASHP's. Tier 1 Manufacturer training desirable.

The Role

A leading HVAC Manufacturer seeks an experienced Technical Support Engineer to oversee and support their regional team of HVAC engineers on any advanced air conditioning technical queries or problems they may have across all VRV / VRF HVAC systems, chillers and heat pump systems (commercial and domestic). This is a unique hybrid role that is home based working in the field overseeing a large team of service and install field engineers and regional service branches.

Experience

Required

You will have extensive previous hands‑on experience servicing and/or installing refrigerated, chilled water and unvented hot water HVAC systems. As this is both in the field and working from different regional offices, you must be IT literateaxi and have excellent organisational and communication skills in order to work effectively under pressure in a fast‑paced team environment. Excellent communication and leadership skills are required as you will be overseeing HVAC engineers from a variety of different backgrounds, from intermediate to advanced levels of experience.

Refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump qualifications are required along with at least 5 years of high level technical experience on cooling and heating HVAC systems, as you will be overseeing experienced air conditioning, chiller and heat pump, service and installation engineers.

This is an industry leading HVAC manufacturer with an extensive portfolio of the cutting edge, energy efficient and low carbon emission cooling and heating systems aérea. Due to the growth in demand of renewables, heat pumps and hybrid air-conditioning systems, they are looking to add Technical Support Engineers that have both cooling and heating experience and qualifications combined. These engineers are specialists on the refrigerant cycle, chilled water systems, chillers and heat pump systems, whether using commercial heat recovery or air source heat pumps (water to water and air to water).
