We're looking for an Internal Account Manager with a solid background in B2B product sales and a passion for delivering exceptional service. This role is ideal for someone with previous commercial sales experience and the ability to manage & develop their own portfolio of customers. You'll need to be a strong communicator who can build rapport, understand client needs, and identify opportunities to grow revenue within each account.

Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of customers, ensuring they receive an exceptional level of service while identifying opportunities to grow revenue.
- Take a consultative approach to understanding customer requirements and ensure they receive the right products and solutions.
- Follow up on leads, quotations and proposals, and send product samples.
- Win and onboard new customers.
- Identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities within existing accounts.
- Handle daily enquiries, resolving issues quickly and professionally.
- Book meetings for the external sales team.
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure smooth delivery.
- Keep CRM records up to date and track performance metrics.
- Experienced in account management or B2B sales (ideally product‑based).
- Strong communicator capable of building rapport.
- Commercially aware with a proactive mindset.
- Highly organised and confident managing multiple priorities.
- Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft 365.
- Base salary: £40,000, up to £10,000 bonus, and profit sharing scheme.
- Hours:
Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm. - 100% office based, Northampton NN3.
