Southfields Care home Rated GOOD by CQC provides exceptional levels of support to older persons living with Dementia, Physical disabilities or /and Sensory impairments. Situated in a residential suburb in Northampton, offering a wonderful living environment in which residents can enjoy an enhanced quality of life. We have teams of friendly and committed staff who provide the highest level of dementia care and residential care.

This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore subject to an enhanced DBS certificate. It is also a regulated activity and will be subject to a Children and Adults Barred List check. To be responsible for assisting the senior chef with the day-to-day preparation and cooking of meals for the elderly residents within your team.

Include modified textured diets.

Support other experienced kitchen staff.

Liaise with suppliers to order and receive goods.

Responsible for ensuring that all health and safety standards are met.

Working 15 hours per week to include alternate weekends. Working between 8am - 6pm. The post includes regular term-time working, and may occasionally offer additional hours to provide holiday or sickness cover, depending on service needs.

Previous experience within a kitchen/catering environment. Relevant qualifications within Food Hygiene. Possess the understanding of the importance of treating each resident's request as paramount.

Unfortunately, this role does not meet the legal requirements for visa sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route.
