Anaesthetic Practitioner, Scrub and Recovery - Main Theatres

At UHN, we are currently recruiting a variety of roles in our Theatre Department. We are looking for dynamic and highly motivated Theatre Practitioners, Recovery, Scrub and Anaesthetics to join our Theatre Teams.

If you hold these skills and have NHS hospital experience we are particular interested in hearing from you.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong clinical expertise across both scrub and anaesthetic practice, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team in a busy and evolving theatre environment. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, show sound clinical judgement, and be confident in supporting a wide range of gynaecological and obstetric procedures.

You must be flexible in your approach to service delivery, committed to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety, and able to lead by example to promote a positive and supportive team culture.

You will be expected to work collaboratively with all members of the multi-disciplinary team and liaise closely with the theatre management team to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality care, while promoting an excellent experience for both patients and staff. Additional experience in Scrub or Recovery is highly desirable.

The role also offers opportunities to work across other operating theatres within the Trust once the necessary competencies for the post have been achieved, supporting professional development and a broader range of clinical experience.
