CNC Miller​/Setter​/Operator : 5 Axis : Night Shift

Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity for a CNC Miller/Setter/Operator to join an engineering company based in Milton Keynes that manufactures high precision CNC milled and turned components from solid and cast in a wide range of metals and plastics for a variety of industry sectors.

• Experienced Setter/Operator:
  Miller across a range of 3 and 5 axis CNC machine centres. Ideally within a fast-paced precision engineering environment.
• Knowledge of either Heidenhain, Hurco or Mazatrol controls.
• Good understanding of Engineering drawings and proficient in carrying out in-process dimensional and visual checks using the appropriate measuring equipment.
• Experience in managing a wide range of metals and plastics.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work efficiently to deadlines.
• Ability to mind multiple machines if required.
• Confident in working with a degree of autonomy.
