Furniture & Upholstery Pattern Maker

We’re looking for a skilled pattern maker with experience in soft seating, sofas, chairs, and upholstery. You’ll bring design drawings and prototypes to life by creating accurate patterns for frames, foam, fabric, and leather, ensuring quality and efficiency in production.

What You’ll Do:

* Develop and adjust patterns for sofas, chairs, cushions, and leather/fabric panels.

* Interpret design drawings, prototypes, and specifications for production.

* Conduct test fits on prototypes and make adjustments as needed.

* Collaborate with designers, product development, and cutting/upholstery teams to refine patterns.

* Maintain organised pattern files and documentation.

* Ensure patterns meet quality, cost, and ergonomic standards.

* Apply your knowledge of materials, including fabric stretch, grain direction, leather characteristics, and foam density.

What We’re Looking For:

* 3+ years’ experience in furniture/upholstery pattern making.

* Strong understanding of furniture construction, upholstery techniques, and materials.

* Manual drafting and/or CAD proficiency.

* CNC cutting experience is a bonus.

* Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and teamwork.

* Ability to work accurately under tight deadlines.
