CNC Miller

Position: CNC Miller (Contract)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller to join a well-established precision engineering company based in Northampton. This is a permanent, day-shift position offering a competitive salary and long-term stability.

The Role:

As a CNC Miller, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines using Fanuc controls, producing high-quality precision components to tight tolerances.

Key Responsibilities:

* Programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines

* Editing and proving out programs at the machine

* Working from engineering drawings and specifications

* Producing high-precision components to exact tolerances

* Carrying out basic inspections using measuring equipment

* Maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a CNC Miller (programmer, setter, operator)

* Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls

* Ability to program at the machine (G-code experience preferred)

* Experience working with tight tolerances and complex components

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

* Reliable, detail-oriented, and quality-focused
