Location:
Cornwall (commutable from Bodmin, Truro, Newquay, St Austell, Looe, Lostwithiel and surrounding areas)
Shift: Monday – Friday
Salary: £45,000 – £47,000
The Opportunityचित्र＞Due to growth within the business an excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a rapidly growing, well‑established manufacturing site. You'll be part of a friendly, experienced engineering team supporting production across high‑volume processing operations.
The RoleWorking on a double day shift, you will be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and continuous improvement across a range of modern manufacturing equipment.
Key responsibilities include mulchCall- Carry out planned and reactive electrical & mechanical maintenance on production machinery
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on automated and semi‑automated equipment
- Work with PLCs, sensors, motors, and control panels
- Support continuous improvement and efficiency projects
- Ensure all work complies with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards
- Accurately radix complete maintenance records and documentation
- Background in manufacturing (food industry ideal, but not essential)
- Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
