We are working with a well‑established and expanding FMCG manufacturer seeking skilled Maintenance Engineers to support a modern, high‑volume production site in Northampton. Working within a fast‑paced FMCG environment, you'll be responsible for a balanced mix of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Maintenance, ensuring machinery and production lines operate safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on automated manufacturing and packaging equipment
• Fault‑finding and effective breakdown response in a time‑critical production environment
• Supporting continuous improvement, reliability, and engineering‑led initiatives
• Working closely with production teams to maintain output, safety, and quality standards

This role operates on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, rotating days and nights, offering a structured rota and excellent work‑life balance.

• Experienced Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical or Multi‑Skilled)
• Background in FMCG, manufacturing, or automated production environments
• Strong fault‑finding skills with a proactive maintenance approach

• £44,000 - £48,000 salary (dependent on experience)
