What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll be right at the heart of the operation, keeping machinery safe, compliant, and performing at its best. Your day‑to‑day will include:

  • Tackling reactive electrical breakdowns and minimising downtime
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults across a range of manufacturing equipment
  • Creating and delivering preventative maintenance schedules
  • Fitting new parts, components, and upgrades
  • Managing emergency repairs and unplanned issues like a pro
  • Carrying out routine inspections and annual servicing
  • Keeping maintenance records clear, accurate, and up to date
  • Supporting fellow engineers and coordinating contractors when needed
  • Ensuring hygiene, housekeeping, and health & safety standards are always met
  • Working to HACCP, CCP, and LCP procedures
  • Collaborating closely with Technical and Factory Managers to maintain site excellence
What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing or industrial setting, specifically in food slicers, vacuum sealers and cookers
  • Recognised electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing machinery and electrical systems
  • Comfortable working in cold environments with the correct PPE
  • Proactive, safety-focused, and a natural problem solver
What’s in It for You:
  • 28 days holiday (including bank holidays)
  • Company pension scheme
  • Ad hoc performance‑related bonuses
  • Financial wellbeing support
  • Gym membership discounts
  • Retail discount programme
  • Employee reward & recognition initiatives
