Operations Manager

Well established Manufacturer in the Northamptonshire area are currently looking for a Operations Manager to join the team and drive managerial team as well as implement best practice on the shopfloor. Reporting into the General Manager; you will be a strong communicator and will be a key advocate for Engagement with internal stakeholders, the workforce & external stakeholders. You will be a key ambassador for Quality, Health & safety, Your People, Cost & Delivery.

You will be a key part of driving cultural change on site & driving positive change within the Production team. Strong order book & a profitable business - so this represents a good opportunity for a Senior Leader to join the business.

Role: Operations Manager
Salary: up to £50,000 (depending on experience) + bonus + benefits
Location: Northamptonshire (commutable from Kettering, Northampton, Market Harborough, Rushden, Wellingborough, Corby, Oundle)

Oversee day-to-day operations using the SQCDP review & implement improvements where possible. Mentor and develop the team around you to build a positive and nurturing environment. Manage and mentor a diverse team of direct reports & fostering engagement and professional growth. Driving a strong culture of Health & Safety on site. Collaborate with sales teams to meet revenue targets and identify market opportunities.

Help implement a culture of process improvement.

• Tangible record of Success in a Senior Management role within a Manufacturing environment
• Qualification in Engineering (Degree, HNC, HND)
• Formal Qualification in NEBOSH/IOSH ideally or experience or driving HSE in a regulated environment
• Strong communication skills is key; forging strong relationship with the your various direct reports
• Engagement & Empowerment will be key to this role
