About you

You will ideally have experience working with a project management position within a warehouse / logistics environment. You will have played a key role in new site openings, whether that be brand new builds or refitting out of existing units and your high level of attention to detail will have played a key role in your success to date. Not only will you thrive in a fast past, growing environment but you will also love working with people, engaging with a variety of stakeholders and managing potentially multiple projects at a time.

Key responsibilities:

· Develop detailed project plans, outlining project scope, timelines, resources, and key deliverables.

· Define project objectives and ensure clear understanding of logistics requirements by all stakeholders.

· Coordinate and oversee the execution of logistics projects, ensuring all milestones are met on time and within budget

· Serve as the primary point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders.

· Communicate regularly with clients, vendors, and team members to provide project updates and manage expectations.

· Facilitate meetings to track project progress and address any potential issues.

· Allocate resources efficiently to ensure that project timelines and goals are achieved.

· Ensure that operations teams have the necessary tools, information, and support to perform their tasks effectively.

· Manage budgets and project costs, ensuring all expenses are within forecast.

· Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise impact.

· Resolve issues promptly and escalate to senior management when necessary.

· Identify areas for process optimisation within the operation and provide recommendations for improvement.

· Monitor the performance of operations and adjust improve efficiency.

· Ensure all processes adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.

· Maintain a high level of quality and accuracy in all project deliverables.

Your skills and experience

· Previous experience in a Project Management position within a warehouse / logistics environment

· Experience of new site openings would be advantageous

· Demonstratable experience of managing a variety of key projects

· Strong organisational skills

· Ability to lead and motivate a project team

· Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions

· Excellent problem-solving skills

· High level of attention to detail

· Strong understanding of logistics processes

· Self-motivated and proactive in approach

· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and internal teams
