Job Overview
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Caretaker to join our Northampton Schools Account in Kingsthorpe College, Boughton Green Road, Northampton NN2 7HR
. This role will be based on site. The salary is £13.08 per hour. The hours of work will be 25 hours per week: 5:00pm - 10:00pm Monday - Friday. - Ensure smooth running of the school premises
- Carrying out day-to-day DIY/maintenance and minor repairs (i.e., furniture fixtures, wall repairs)
- To ensure heating, lighting and alarm systems are working properly
- Daily responsible to check that all doors and windows are locked when the building is not in use
- Checking the premises to guard against vandalism
- Arranging chairs and tables for meetings or assemblies and clearing away afterwards
- Litter picking and general clearing of external areas
- Thisrole will also support both local and business zero carbon programmes, working towards zero carbon in astrategicand lean manner as and where it is appropriate
- Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contract
