About the Role
Were working with a highly regarded law firm in Northampton seeking a Corporate & Commercial Paralegal to join their Legal 500 recognised team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and supportive department that advises on a wide range of corporate matters, including acquisitions, disposals, management buyouts/buy-ins, and corporate restructures. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced commercial environment.

While previous experience in corporate or commercial law is desirable, full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities
As a Corporate & Commercial Paralegal, youll provide vital support to solicitors across a variety of transactions. Your duties will include:

Assisting with file management, including file setup and client onboarding requirements.

Drafting and amending corporate documents such as board minutes and shareholder resolutions (under supervision).

Supporting amendments and reporting on corporate and commercial contracts.

Managing electronic data rooms, including organising, redacting, and uploading documents.

Attending client meetings and calls, taking accurate notes.

Preparing documents for completion and facilitating execution.

Assisting with post-completion matters, including preparing completion bibles, liaising with Companies House, and communicating with clients and third parties.

Requirements

Law degree (LLB or equivalent).

Strong IT, written, and verbal communication skills.

Excellent attention to detail and organisation.

Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team environment.

Interest in pursuing further qualification (SQE, LPC, or CILEX route).
