Recruitment Consultant – Specialising in Private Client & Family Law within the Legal Sector – West Midlands

Location: Northamptonshire

I’m excited to be partnering with a long‑established, well‑respected regional law firm to support the hire of an experienced Private Client Solicitor (3 PQE+). This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated lawyer who enjoys building meaningful client relationships, managing a varied caseload, and working within a genuinely supportive team culture. The firm operates across two offices in Kettering and Northampton, with a hybrid working model that offers a healthy balance of office presence and home flexibility.

You will manage a diverse caseload of Private Client matters, including:

• Inheritance Tax planning
• Trusts and lifetime planning
• Working closely with executors, trustees, beneficiaries and fellow professionals
• Dealing with a lot of High Net Worth Individuals

This role also involves home visits to elderly clients, so compassion, patience and clear communication are essential.

• Manage your own varied Private Client caseload
• Deliver high‑quality, tailored advice across Probate, Estates, Trusts & Tax
• Provide sensitive and supportive guidance to elderly and vulnerable clients
• Attend home visits where required
• Network and help promote the firm to continue building its excellent regional reputation
• Contribute to billing targets and wider team success

  PQE minimum
  , but very happy to consider more senior lawyers
• Solid experience in a Private Client team
• Strong communication skills and a warm, professional approach
• Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative team
• Willingness to split time between Kettering and Northampton offices
