Payroll MI Analyst – 9 month FTC

We at GXO Logistics Supply Chain Inc. are looking for a Payroll MI Analyst to join us on a 9‑month fixed‑term contract.

You will dive into data reporting, exception analysis, and process improvements to standardise and streamline payroll operations.

Salary up to £55,000 per annum. 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) with the option to buy additional days, high‑street discounts, cycle‑to‑work scheme, workplace pension, and other perks.

• Support the payroll team and wider payroll stakeholder group with the analysis of payroll data, identifying and escalating any omissions or errors
• Provide monthly management and payroll frequency reports along with payroll performance reporting
• Develop a detailed understanding of our payroll data requirements and become a subject‑matter expert for the reporting tools used
• Support and lead on continuous improvement and project activities to develop the payroll processes and reporting tools

• A solid background in payroll with a strong track record of working with large amounts of data and reporting, confident use of a data analytics tool such as Power BI, Google Analytics or Tableau, SQL knowledge & advanced MS Access. Knowledge of Java or Python is a big tick.
• Familiarity with working with data lake/warehouse(s) and VBA knowledge to remove manual activity
• Strong analytical and project management skills with the ability to identify and resolve problems with minimal supervision
• Hands‑on and in‑depth experience of working with ADP Global View, SAP or similar payroll products
