Associate R&D Technical Consultant role focused on helping engineering and science clients qualify their innovations for R&D tax incentives. The position blends technical work with client interaction and problem-solving.

• Work with businesses to identify innovative projects eligible for R&D tax relief
• Translate complex engineering and scientific activities into clear, compelling technical reports
• Conduct interviews and site visits with senior technical stakeholders
• Collaborate with finance and tax teams to build robust claims
• Stay on top of HMRC guidance and emerging innovation trends
• Learn fast—technical training, tax knowledge, and consulting skills all included

• A degree in a STEM subject (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Maths)
• Curiosity, analytical thinking, and a love for problem-solving
• Clear, confident writing and communication skills
• The ability to simplify technical detail without losing substance
