Senior SEN Lawyer

Overview

Our client, a Unitary Council based in Northamptonshire, is recruiting for a Senior SEN Lawyer on a 3-month rolling basis.

Step in and autonomously manage a varied Local Government caseload.

Act as team lead, providing guidance and support when necessary.

Advise on and conduct SEND Tribunal proceedings, and on specifics of the law, policy, strategy and procedure.

Handle Judicial Reviews.

Attend the office on the first day for equipment pick‑up and induction; thereafter, office attendance will be ad‑hoc.

• Experience in Local Government (desirable).
• Considerable experience dealing with complex SEN matters.
• Recent experience is required.

• 37 hours per week.
• Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm.
