Group Financial Accountant

I am currently recruiting for a household name based in Northampton to search for their next Group Financial Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing name within their field.

In this role you will support the Group Financial Controller to prepare the financial statements as well as liaising with stakeholders across the group to ensure strong control over the group companies. This will include liaising with the auditors and supporting on Management Reporting project work.

This role is a hybrid role with 4 days per week required in the office.

• Support with the group financial reporting
• Budgeting & Forecasting to support C-Suite decision making
• Support with VAT returns process
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Support with ad-hoc projects and analysis as and when required (e.g. due diligence and process streamlining)

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
• Prior experience in hands-on financial reporting either within a practice environment or industry
• Experience dealing with external auditors
• Results oriented
• Strong Stakeholder Management Experience
• Strong excel skills (e.g. financial modelling exposure)
