The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Engineering Support Operative to join their team within a major UK distribution centre.

Salary & Shift Pattern
 
£32,500 per annum
4 on 4 off - days and nights  Your Responsibilities
You will support engineering and maintenance activities to ensure equipment uptime, safety compliance, and overall productivity. Your duties will include:
 
Conducting operational and functionality checks
Performing cleaning, adjustments, lubrication, and general monitoring of equipment
Identifying root causes of issues and supporting permanent corrective solutions
Assisting with planned, corrective, and reactive maintenance tasks
Supporting jam-busting and operational procedures
Accurately recording all work completed to maintain utilisation records  What We're Looking For
We are seeking someone enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to grow in a technical environment. You will work closely with a multi-disciplined team and contribute to the smooth running of highly automated equipment.
You should be:
 
Proactive with a strong approach to fault finding
A reliable and collaborative team player
Willing to work shifts, including nights
