Lead BMS Commissioning Engineer

At VIGO, we are recruiting on behalf of a well-respected client in the Smart Buildings and Building Management Systems (BMS/BEMS) sector. They are currently looking for an experienced Contract Lead BMS Commissioning Engineer to join their industry-leading team on a 6-month contract, which is likely to extend. Outside IR35 £ 330 to £400 Per Day

Role Overview

The successful candidate will become an essential part of the on-site team. They will play a dynamic role in ensuring the commissioning, testing, and successful operation of their advanced BMS solutions. The client predominantly uses Trend and Tridium, making knowledge of these systems a core prerequisite for the role.

Key Responsibilities

Leading the commissioning process of BMS systems

Working with the design and installation teams to ensure the most efficient setup

Undertaking system tests to ensure the highest performance and system health

Providing expertise during the fault-finding process and system optimisation

Liaising with stakeholders to confirm successful system delivery

The Ideal Candidate

Experience as a Lead BMS Commissioning Engineer

Substantial knowledge of Trend and Tridium systems is essential

Strong ability to problem solve and optimise systems

Excellent stakeholder management skills

Ability and willingness to operate outside of IR35
