Mechanical Design Engineer (M&E) £47,000 - £52,000 DOE  Training  Progression  Enhanced Holiday  Company Benefits Northampton Are you an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer looking to join a well-established, multi-disciplined Building Services consultancy working across a wide range of sectors? This Building Services consultancy has over 20 years of industry experience, delivering mechanical and electrical design solutions for a wide range of clients.

Based in Northampton, they operate across sectors including education, healthcare, commercial, leisure, heritage and defence, and offer a tight-knit, collaborative environment where engineers have real influence on projects. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical building services systems for a range of projects across multiple sectors. You will produce detailed designs and technical drawings using CAD software, carry out site surveys, and work closely with project teams, clients and contractors.

This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer looking for more autonomy and influence within a small, collaborative Building Services team.

The Role:

Design and develop mechanical building services systems including heating, ventilation and air-conditioning Produce detailed technical drawings and specifications using CAD software Carry out site surveys and assist with condition and asset reporting Liaise with clients, contractors and project teams throughout project delivery Ensure all designs meet current regulations, standards and client requirements
