Casual Minibus Driver

Casual – Salary: £14.51 per hour + holiday pay based on working hours.

We are seeking Minibus Drivers to provide casual transport covering staff absences for students to/from school Monday‑Friday, term time only.

The morning shift starts at 06:00, with the afternoon shift at 15:15, and shifts will vary depending on requirements. Ad‑hoc opportunities for events such as sports fixtures or school trips may also arise during term‑time.

• A valid Category D1 driving licence (preferred) with a satisfactory driving record.
• Ready to take the MIDAS qualification.
• Ability to react calmly in emergency situations.
• Over 21 years of age.
• Prepared to take a suitable First Aid qualification.
• IT proficiency.
• Maintaining good customer relations with parents and the school and contributing to a positive atmosphere on the bus.

You will join a friendly and welcoming team of both permanent and casual drivers, delivering reliable and safe transport for students whilst maintaining high standards of customer service. The role involves:

• Transporting students to and from school during designated shift times.
• Supporting ad‑hoc events such as sports fixtures or school trips.
• Ensuring the bus is clean, safe and well‑maintained.
