We are seeking Minibus Drivers to provide casual transport covering staff absences for students to/from school Monday‑Friday, term time only.
The morning shift starts at 06:00, with the afternoon shift at 15:15, and shifts will vary depending on requirements. Ad‑hoc opportunities for events such as sports fixtures or school trips may also arise during term‑time.
- A valid Category D1 driving licence (preferred) with a satisfactory driving record.
- Ready to take the MIDAS qualification.
- Ability to react calmly in emergency situations.
- Over 21 years of age.
- Prepared to take a suitable First Aid qualification.
- IT proficiency.
- Maintaining good customer relations with parents and the school and contributing to a positive atmosphere on the bus.
You will join a friendly and welcoming team of both permanent and casual drivers, delivering reliable and safe transport for students whilst maintaining high standards of customer service. The role involves:
- Transporting students to and from school during designated shift times.
- Supporting ad‑hoc events such as sports fixtures or school trips.
- Ensuring the bus is clean, safe and well‑maintained.
- Communicating effectively with parents, staff and school officials.
- Adhering to child protection policies and safety procedures.
