Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a well-established and high-performing Further Education college in Northamptonshire to recruit an inspiring Teacher of Criminology.

As a Teacher of Criminology, you will deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons that develop students' understanding of crime, deviance, social control and the criminal justice system.

No two days are the same. Your role will include:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality Criminology lessons

  • Creating an inclusive and stimulating learning environment

  • Supporting students to achieve their academic potential

  • Assessing work and providing clear, constructive feedback

  • Monitoring student progress and contributing to achievement targets

  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery

  • Maintaining accurate records and meeting quality assurance standards

You will be part of a collaborative culture that values innovation, professional development and student success.

We are seeking candidates who demonstrate:

  • Experience or aptitude in coaching, tutoring or teaching

  • The ability to confidently engage and manage groups of students

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Confidence using IT/ICT systems to support teaching and administration

  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • A professional and student-focused approach at all times
