Unqualified Teacher - Alternative Provision (SEMH)

Are you passionate about helping young people re‑engage with learning? An Alternative Provision in Northampton is seeking an enthusiastic Unqualified Teacher with strong skills in core subjects to join their dedicated team on a full‑time, long‑term basis.

This role is ideal for someone who is confident, adaptable and motivated to support secondary‑aged learners with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH). If you can build trust, spark curiosity and bring learning to life, this setting will value you.

The Role of an Unqualified Teacher in Northampton, Northamptonshire
  • Delivering engaging, structured lessons across core subjects (English, Maths, Science)
  • Supporting learners who may have experienced disrupted education
  • Creating a calm, consistent and nurturing learning environment
  • Building positive relationships that encourage progress and confidence
  • Working collaboratively with a supportive, specialist team
  • Committing to a full‑time, Monday‑Friday position with long‑term continuity in Northampton, Northamptonshire
