Overview
Job Title: Primary Teacher (QTS) Mainstream & SEN Schools
Pay Rate: £140 £ 190 per day
Location: Northampton Mainstream & Specialist SEND Schools
Hours: Full-Time Day-to-Day Supply Term Time Only
Responsibilities- Smart Education is recruiting qualified Primary Teachers (QTS) to work across mainstream and specialist SEND schools in Northampton.
- The schools support pupils with a wide range of needs, from typical primary learners to those with special educational needs (SEN), including autism, SEMH, communication difficulties, and complex learning needs.
- Teachers will deliver lessons in inclusive, nurturing classrooms
, helping pupils progress academically, socially, and emotionally.

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching pupils in mainstream and/or SEN settings (essential)
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Child or Child/Adult DBS (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid passport
- Ability to provide 24 months of employer or academic references
- Plan and deliver lessons tailored to individual and group needs
- Support pupils academically, socially, and emotionally
- Implement individual learning or behaviour plans where required
- Promote independence, confidence, and engagement
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and external specialists
- Maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
