Literacy Mentor

We are looking for an excellent Literacy Mentor to join our team at Malcolm Arnold Academy. • The learning and achievement of students with specific literacy needs
• Ensuring equality of opportunity for all and being accountable for achieving the highest possible standards in work and conduct.
• Delivering lessons and literacy interventions to groups or individual students.
• Leading literacy intervention meetings as required.
• Promoting development and learning (physical, emotional, educational, social)
• Providing a first point of contact with students, families, external agencies, and universities.

Employment terms:
Permanent, 39 weeks per year, 37 hours per week.

• NJC 9, FTE £27,254 per annum (£23,939.32 pro rata term time)
