At Aspire People, we are seeking a reliable, confident, and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join a vibrant and supportive secondary school in Northampton from September 2025.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of education for students during teacher absences. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone considering a future in teaching or looking to work in a dynamic educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies.
Ensure students remain on task and engaged in their learning.
Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour.
Support students in their learning and promote a positive classroom environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have experience working with young people (e.g., in a school, youth work or similar setting).
Possess strong communication and classroom management skills.
Be flexible, resilient, and proactive.
Be able to build positive relationships with both students and staff.
Have a genuine interest in education and student development.
