Tradewind Recruitment is working closely with secondary schools across Northampton who are seeking committed and confident Cover Supervisors to join their teams from January 2026. This full‑time position offers a stable, ongoing opportunity to become a valued member of the school community.

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning by delivering pre‑prepared lessons during teacher absences. You'll provide a calm, positive presence in the classroom and help ensure students remain engaged and on track.

• Supervising pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects (KS3-KS4)
• Managing classroom behaviour and keeping students focused
• Supporting learners with clear, consistent guidance
• Becoming part of the school’s daily routines and wider support network
• Providing feedback on student engagement, progress, and any emerging concerns

• Have experience working with young people (school-based experience desirable)
• Are confident managing a classroom and promoting positive behaviour
• Are seeking a secure, long-term role with real responsibility
• Bring strong communication skills and a flexible, team-focused attitude
