Overview
Wollaston Motors is looking for a Service Advisor at Wollaston BMW/MINI Northampton. As we embark on a major new development of our BMW/MINI site, we have a rare and excellent opportunity available for a motivated Service Advisor to join our team.
As a Service Advisor, you will focus on providing outstanding customer care and be the vital link between our customers and the workshop. You will inform and consult on vehicle servicing and keep the customer up to date at every stage of their vehicle journey whilst answering any questions or queries they may have. You will also liaise with technicians/workshop control about vehicle statuses and ensure that vehicles will be ready on time.
You will provide honest and best advice on our products and services to our customers. This is a challenging yet rewarding role where customer care must be priority and always comes first; you will take the time to talk to our customers, building genuine rapport and identifying exactly what our customers want and need.
Wollaston Service Advisors work a variety of flexible patterns, which can typically include weekends, to ensure we provide our customers with the highest possible levels of service.
Responsibilities- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring outstanding customer care and clear communication between customers and the workshop.
- Inform and consult on vehicle servicing needs and keep customers updated at every stage of their vehicle journey; answer questions or queries promptly.
- Liaise with technicians/workshop control about vehicle statuses and ensure vehicles are ready on time.
- Provide honest and best advice on products and services to customers.
- Build rapport with customers, understand their needs, and identify what they want from service.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role is required. Candidates should understand the role and be motivated to develop personal goals with a willingness to learn and progress within the business.
- Training will be provided through our in-house Learning & Development team and manufacturer courses run by BMW; this will include becoming accredited within the first 6 months subject to availability.
- Ideally, you will have excellent organisational and administrative skills with good attention to detail. A strong customer service background is beneficial in a busy environment.
- Working knowledge of Kerridge/Drive is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
