Early Years Teaching Assistant – Northampton (Must Be Able to Drive).
Location:
Northampton. Salary:
Competitive, based on experience.
- Supporting Early Learners:
Work alongside the class teacher to support children's learning through play, hands-on activities, and exploration. - Creating a Fun & Engaging Environment:
Help create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom where children can develop their social, emotional, and academic skills. - Personalized Support:
Provide 1:1 or small group support to children who need additional help with specific tasks or learning activities. - Promoting Independence:
Encourage children to develop self-confidence, independence, and key life skills in a nurturing setting. - Liaising with Parents & Staff:
Build positive relationships with parents and carers, keeping them updated on their child s progress and well-being. - Supporting Daily Routines:
Assist with daily routines such as lunchtime, outdoor play, and personal care as needed.
- A Passion for Early Years:
You re enthusiastic about supporting children in their early stages of development and helping them build a strong foundation for learning. - You re a Driver:
You need to have a full, clean driving licence as you may be required to travel between school locations. - Creative & Patient:
You re full of ideas to make learning fun and engaging, and you re patient, understanding, and able to work flexibly to meet each child s needs. - Experience is a Plus:
Experience working with young children, particularly in an early years setting, is desirable. But if you re new to the field, as long as you have a passion for learning, we ll support you. - Team-Oriented:
You thrive in a collaborative team environment and are keen to share ideas and learn from others.
A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years Education, or a related field would be great, but it s not essential.
