Role: Domestic Assistant.
Location: Nene Valley Day Nursery | Northampton | NN1 5BD
.
Contract: Permanent | 37.5 hours/week | 52 weeks/year.
Working pattern: Varied shifts Monday-Friday between 07:30-18:30.
Salary: £24,102 per annum (pro-rata) | £12.36 per hour.

- Maintain exceptional standards of hygiene and cleanliness as a professional Housekeeper or Cleaner.
- Uphold a safe environment by following COSHH guidelines, restock supplies in bathrooms and kitchens, empty bins, sweep and mop floors, perform high-level dusting, support the kitchen team with washing-up, and care for laundry.
- Support safeguarding by ensuring the well-being of every child and all adults within the nursery.
- Collaborate as part of a team and build supportive, respectful relationships with others.
- Experience as a professional Housekeeper or Cleaner with a focus on high hygiene standards.
- Knowledge of COSHH and the ability to use initiative to maintain a safe environment.
- Commitment to safeguarding and the well-being of children and staff.
- Strong teamwork and collaborative skills.
