We are seeking a Commercial Analyst who will be responsible for supporting the Commercial Team in pulling together tender response opportunities that fall within the warehouse and transport division.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Commercial Team with financial appraisals and tender submissions.
- Maintain and update internal pricing models, data tools, and warehouse rate cards.
- Lead cost modelling for new warehousing opportunities and present findings to stakeholders.
- Contribute operational input for RFI/RFP/Tender responses.
- Track and update the weekly opportunity pipeline and tender log.
- Engage with customers to gather information required for accurate quotations.
- Build strong working relationships across internal teams and key partners.
- Assist with ad‑hoc warehousing modelling using 3D visualisation tools (training provided).
- Attend site visits or customer meetings as needed.
- Support additional commercial tasks and work to agreed deadlines.
- Previous experience with Tender pricing, modelling and analysis
- Experience of Warehousing, Transport and Logistics (Preferred)
- Familiar with operational P&L's
- Excellent Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint skills
- Comfortable and professional in client‑facing situations
- Strong attention to detail
- Stakeholder Management
- High level of communication skills, both written & verbal
- Comfortable liaising with site and finance managers
- Demonstrates adaptability and finds constructive solutions
- Able to manage workload effectively to meet deadlines
- Good understanding of commercially viable opportunities
