Work Life Balance: Mainly remote with travel to Northampton office 2 times per month

, delivering good customer outcomes is at the heart of everything we do. We're looking for a Product Governance Specialist to join our team, playing a pivotal role in leading and delivering Fair Value Assessment projects across our Rock business portfolio.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured, analytical work, thrives on ownership of end-to-end projects, and is motivated by ensuring products deliver genuine value to customers while meeting regulatory expectations.

The Role

Reporting into the Product Governance Manager, you'll take ownership of Fair Value Assessments and product review activity
, working across multiple stakeholders to ensure our products are fit for purpose, compliant, and customer-centric.

You’ll lead on the planning, delivery, and continuous improvement of Fair Value Assessment activity, ensuring insight-led decision making and clear audit trails that stand up to regulatory scrutiny.

, ROCK Insurance Group specialises in B2B and corporate partnerships, providing innovative and tailored travel insurance solutions for some of the UK's biggest brands.

Responsibilities:
  • Leading Fair Value Assessment projects across the product lifecycle, from data gathering through to insight, challenge, and outcomes.
  • Delivering Product Reviews, Target Market Assessments, and value analysis across all relevant product lines.
  • Maintaining and managing the Fair Value Assessment schedule
    , action logs, and supporting documentation.
  • Analysing complex data sets to identify trends in product performance, customer outcomes, and value metrics.
  • Producing clear, concise insights to support annual reviews and governance forums.
  • Reviewing new and existing products within the Product Governance framework, including customer documentation and sales journeys.
  • Providing effective challenge to product, pricing, and distribution teams to ensure robust governance and fair customer outcomes.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert on Product Governance and regulatory developments, particularly Consumer Duty.
  • Supporting the development and mentoring of junior team members.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of governance processes and frameworks.
What We're Looking For:
  • Strong knowledge of UK financial services regulation
    , with a particular focus on Product Governance and Consumer Duty
    .
  • Proven experience in product governance, compliance, risk, or product oversight within financial services.
  • A project-focused mindset with the ability to manage multiple reviews and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to turn complex information into meaningful insight.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, confident presenting findings and influencing stakeholders.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working autonomously.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and confident challenging constructively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Power Point .
