As an Audit and Accounts Semi‑Senior, you will split your time between accounts and audit work, gaining exposure to a broad client base from ambitious owner‑managed businesses through to groups turning over £50m.

This is not a narrow, repetitive role. It is a hands‑on Audit and Accounts Semi‑Senior position where you will build relationships, develop technically and take real ownership of your work – all within a firm recognised for high‑quality training and professional development.

• Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies across varied sectors
• Draft corporation tax and business tax computations
• Liaise directly with clients to gather information and resolve queries
• Prepare VAT returns and management accounts
• Support and deliver audits from planning through to completion
• Work closely with managers as part of an experienced audit team

• Practice experience across accounts preparation and audit assignments
• Confident preparing statutory financial statements for owner‑managed businesses
• Comfortable communicating with clients face to face, by phone and email
• Strong Excel and general IT skills
• Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple deadlines
• Keen eye for detail and a solutions‑focused mindset

• £35,000 to £39,000
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
• Modern office with air conditioning

• Early finish – 4.00pm or 4.30pm depending on start time
• Structured training with an ICAEW Authorised Training Employer and ACCA Approved Employer at Platinum level
• Annual salary review
