Description

The Assistant Accountant's duties will include but are not limited to:

Review and reconcilie balance sheet codes.
Calculating and posting journals.
Posting of accruals and prepayments.
Confirmation of cleared funds and setting up bank payments.
Reconciliation of vehicle stock check to nominal ledger reports.
Providing holiday cover for other accounts functions including bank reconciliations and cash banking.
Reviewing and running reports as required.
Ad hoc support.

Profile

A successful Assistant Accountant should have:

A solid foundation in accounting principles and practices.
A relevant qualification or working towards one, such as AAT, ACCA or CIMA (or have equivalent experience).
Experience in financial reporting and reconciliations.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
