Delivery Driver

Compensation: $19.50 / hour
DescriptionFernway’s Logistics Specialist will be responsible for delivering Fernway products to cannabis dispensaries across Massachusetts, fulfilling orders in our vault and supporting operational activities across departments. This is a non-CDL position.
Key Responsibilities- Loading & unloading vehicles with cannabis product
- Driving across the state of Massachusetts and/or riding as a passenger for 6-8+ hours per day
- Driving 200+ miles daily in a safe and responsible manner
- Communicating well with supervisors and other team members
- Maintaining a clean and organized vehicle
- Providing strong customer service and conducting deliveries professionally, in accordance with state regulations
- Conducting routine maintenance checks and performing light maintenance on the company fleet
- Detailed picking & packing of cannabis orders, in accordance with state regulations
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to assist with other aspects of the business, including warehouse & inventory management, packaging, etc., on an as-needed basis
- 21+ years old
- Massachusetts Driver’s License (no CDL requirement, no marijuana screening)
- Ability to pass Cannabis regulatory background check
- Six months of professional driving experience (preferred)
- Massachusetts cannabis delivery experience a plus
- Clean driving record
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Experience in a high-volume service or production environment (preferred)
- Strong fine motor skills & comfortability working with hands/on feet all day
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to climb a ladder up and down
- Ability to reliably commute to Northampton, Mass., and work on-site
- Solid understanding and ability to utilize mobile technology, including smartphones, GPS systems, mapping and messaging apps
- Flexible schedule, with the ability to work overtime when necessary
- Regular and punctual attendance
- A high degree of integrity and ethical conduct, always
