Role Overview :
The Telemetry Nurse provides care for patients with critical or life-threatening conditions, monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms, assessing hemodynamic status, and administering prescribed cardiac medications and telemetry-approved drips.
Key Responsibilities:
Recognize and assist patients in shock or other life-threatening complications Assist with emergency and elective cardioversions and temporary pacemaker insertions Monitor, interpret, and respond to telemetry readings Patient Population:
Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients Must effectively interact on an interdisciplinary level, adapting communication to each patient’s intellectual and physical abilities
