Registered Nurse (RN) Main Function:
The Registered Nurse delivers patient care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN directs and coordinates all nursing care, collaborates with other disciplines, and ensures effective, efficient patient care and the achievement of desired outcomes. Reports to the Nurse Manager/Director and operates within established organizational and departmental policies. Minimum Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (BSN preferred) RN licensure in Massachusetts required BLS certification (current, American Heart Association) ACLS certification (current, American Heart Association) Excellent technical, interpersonal, organizational, oral, and written communication skills
