Call required: 1 weekday per week 5pm to 7 am and 1 weekend day per month: 7 am to 7 am. Additional Call may be req. The Surgical Technologist is responsible for planning, preparing, and maintaining surgical instrumentation and the surgical field peri-operatively. The Surgical Technologist also performs various related activities post-operatively in relation to room and instrument decontamination. This position reports to the Nurse Manager, Operating Room and operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent required Successful completion of a program in surgical technology from an approved school required Certification in Surgical Technology required Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required Should have experience with general surgery, ortho, gyn
