Senior Family Support Clinician – Northampton

CSO is looking for a Senior Family Support Clinician to provide In‑Home Therapy (IHT) to children and families.

Overview

This role is ideal for experienced or newly graduated clinicians and will provide a structured, strength‑based therapeutic relationship in natural family settings such as home or school in collaboration with a paraprofessional who provides family support and training as part of the clinician’s treatment plan.

Starting Salary

$50,000 – $63,000 per year.

Responsibilities
  • Begin initial assessment for all referrals within 24 hours, including mental status and risk assessment of the child and family.
  • Develop treatment plans and goals in collaboration with families, children, and other supports and providers.
  • Assist caregivers in stabilizing child behavior, developing risk management plans, and facilitating involvement of crisis services when required.
  • Work collaboratively with the Family Support paraprofessional and serve as a collaborative provider to the family’s wrap‑around team.
  • Maintain required communication with Mass Health MCEs and commercial insurance providers.
  • Follow standard procedures for In‑Home Therapy and/or Family‑Based Intensive Treatment under the Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative.
  • Meet productivity target of 107 billable hours monthly (321 quarterly) for 1.0 FTE.
  • Provide transportation for consumers as appropriate, following program guidelines.
  • Be available to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends as required.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in a mental health field.
  • Experience working with children and families (preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged.
