Overview
Clinician, In-Home Behavioral Services, Northampton. CSO is looking for an In-Home Behavioral Services (IHBS) Clinician for our Northampton clinic. This role is suitable for an experienced clinician or a newly graduated clinician who is motivated to work with children and families. The IHBS Clinician will provide behavior management therapy and monitoring for children and their families in natural family settings and will collaborate with a paraprofessional who provides behavioral health monitoring, coaching, and support.
Responsibilities- Conduct behavioral health assessments
- Document observations of the youth in the home, community and school
- Conduct structured interviews of the youth, family and collaterals
- Complete a written functional behavioral assessment
- Develop a focused behavior management treatment plan with behavioral objectives designed to reduce, eliminate or improve specific behaviors related to a youth s mental health condition
- Develop behavioral objectives that are incorporated into a youth s risk management plan
- Assist caregivers in stabilizing the behavior of children and adolescents
- Clinical Master s degree
- 2 years experience working with children, adolescents and families (preferred)
- Must have supervised experience in behavioral analysis and in behavioral assessment and monitoring
- Prior background in behavioral interventions and Applied Behavioral Analysis (preferred)
- Valid driver s license and reliable transportation
