Teacher – Northampton Overview
We are looking for a passionate Teacher to join a supportive educational setting in Northampton, working with students who benefit from a personalised and nurturing learning environment. The role focuses on delivering engaging lessons while supporting students’ academic progress and wellbeing.
Key Information- Role: Teacher
- Location: Northampton
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Employment Term: Permanent
- Working Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm
- Work Location: On-site (School-based)
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that support student progress and achievement.
- Create a positive, inclusive learning environment for students with additional needs.
- Monitor student progress, assessment, and attainment
. - Support behaviour management and pastoral care
. - Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs
. - Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity, and wellbeing
. - Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery and school development
.
- Degree in a relevant subject area (or equivalent).
- QTS/QTLS or willingness to work towards a teaching qualification.
- GCSE Maths, English, and Science (Grade 4/C or above).
- Experience working in a school or education setting, ideally secondary.
- Understanding of alternative provision and supporting students with additional needs.
- Ability to engage and motivate learners.
- Strong communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
- Effective problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
