Commercial Estimator – Landscaping

This is a full‑time office position that requires daily collaboration with other team members.

Are you an experienced Estimator passionate about winning new business? We are seeking an Estimator to play an integral role in securing new Landscape contracts supporting the company's Play business targets. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail‑oriented professional passionate about soft landscaping to contribute to exciting projects and grow within a dynamic organisation.

• Read and interpret tender specifications, creating base estimating models from master bespoke estimating models.
• Identify and model competitive edge opportunities including evaluation methodologies provided by each client.
• Conduct site visits to strengthen model validity and create further opportunities for tender submission.
• Present tender estimating models at pricing meetings and monitor model effectiveness, improving as necessary.
• Build and manage relationships across idverde for specific tendering processes, enhancing business development opportunities.
• Partner with the design team to build competitive quotes.
• Track quotes and tender returns day‑to‑day to ensure deadlines are met.

• Experience as a Commercial Estimator, preferably in Landscape, Play or Construction.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including developer skills and advanced data handling.
• Ability to assimilate and interpret large quantities of information in different formats.
• Experience using Excel‑based models within an estimating role, financial or other role requiring advanced data management.
• Skill to receive input from different internal sources and mould into an optimum solution for a business.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with a commercial outlook in a working environment.
• A Full UK driving licence is preferred.
