Kitchen Porter, Strikes Garden Centre

We are looking for a Part Time ##employment type## Kitchen Porter to join the team in our Restaurant in Strikes Garden Centre.

Our competitive rates of pay range from £10 to £12.25 per hour dependent on age. The hours for this role are 24 per week over 3 days. All positions include weekends working so flexibility is a must.

As a Kitchen Porter, you will provide a critical service to both our front and back of house operation ensuring a constant supply of clean crockery, cutlery and equipment. You will be trained in the safe operation of the pot wash equipment and take responsibility for a productive and clean work area.

• Using equipment, process all cutlery and crockery through the dishwasher.
• Make sure waste is disposed of using appropriate recycling bins.
• Take care to avoid breakages.
• Ensure all crockery and dishes are cleaned properly before being used.
• Carry out cleaning of equipment and working areas to the highest food hygiene standards.
• Close down kitchen each day including preparation for the following day.
