Relief Support Worker – Northallerton

Shifts will be Monday to Friday, may include weekends and bank holidays. The role is on a relief basis as and when required.

We support three active gentlemen aged between 60-68 who have a learning disability and lead independent, fun and active lifestyles. It’s a busy home with activities like days out, train spotting, socialising, and seeing friends.

• Support people to live independently: budget management, paying bills, housework, organising appointments, and cooking healthy meals.
• Provide excellent communication and relationship building skills to help those we support understand the world and promote positive relationships.
• Facilitate community & social inclusion by helping individuals access and participate in local community and social events to promote life skills and individuality.
• Assist with personal care: prompting medication, helping with bathing, showering, and using the bathroom. Not all roles include high levels of personal care.
• All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
