Creative Teaching Assistant

The successful Creative Teaching Assistant will work closely with class teachers to deliver engaging activities, particularly for pupils who benefit from hands‑on, practical, and creative learning methods. Support teaching and learning across the curriculum using creative strategies.

Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.

Help adapt lessons to suit different learning styles.

Promote positive behaviour and engagement within the classroom.

Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development.

Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.

Have previous experience working as a Creative Teaching Assistant or in a similar school-based role.

Be confident supporting pupils with a range of learning needs.

Be proactive, energetic, and adaptable.

Have strong communication and behaviour management skills.

Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).

Have a fully checkable work history.
