Client Advisor – Northallerton Vets for Pets Practice
We are looking for a client‑facing receptionist who will provide exceptional service to both our clients and their pets. You will act as the link between clients and the clinical team, ensuring every visit is smooth, enjoyable, and staffed with confidence.
ResponsibilitiesYour day will involve greeting clients, offering support and guidance, managing payments, and handling future bookings. You will coordinate the smooth running of day‑to‑day routines using our online booking system, which requires strong computer literacy. The role starts in March 2026, working 25.5 hours per rolling week, including early and late shifts and 1 in 2 Saturdays, with additional holiday cover hours as needed.
- Provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for clients and their pets.
- Stay fully up‑to‑speed with the practice’s services and any additional offerings.
- Remain calm, attentive, and focused on clients’ needs.
- Bring enthusiasm, drive, and a passion for service that matches your love of pets.
- Handle a range of client emotions—from comforting those facing challenges to sharing joy when a new puppy arrives.
- Create a welcoming and friendly environment alongside your colleagues.
- Pay attention to detail, completing insurance claims accurately.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent customer‑service orientation.
- Confidence in managing payments and bookings.
- Comfortable with computer systems and online booking solutions.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and stay organized.
