Kiewit is hiring an experienced Equipment Operator Lead Hand for the Woodfibre Project in Squamish, BC. This role involves operating various types of equipment in a marine‑adjacent industrial environment. Candidates must be comfortable working around water and performing tasks such as backing up trailers onto barges and loading/offloading materials and equipment.

• 5+ years experience operating zoom boom, Calmar or similar forklift, shunt truck, highway truck and trailer
• Lead hand experience
• Must have Marine experience:
  • Using skiff boat
  • Backing trailers onto barges
  • Loading/offloading equipment and materials from barges
  • Familiar with hydraulic systems while working in a marine environment
• Must have Class 1 Driver's license and provide 5 year Driver's Abstract
• Valid Zoom Boom Ticket
• Valid Forklift Ticket
• CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015

• 14/7 rotation
• Must be available to work any of the following rotations: 14/7, 21/7, 14/14, 10/4
• Must be available to work days or nights

• Camp job
• Base rate of $43.30/hour + Lead hand premium of $3.00/hour
• Upon an offer, all candidates must be able to pass a Sure Hire Drug, Alcohol, & 50lb Fitness to work test.
